At our Lummen site, SABCA Limburg, we are specialized in the manufacturing of high-tech composite assemblies for aircraft. On the one hand, we produce integrated skins for flaps and stabilizers using two automatic tape-layers and very large autoclaves and of course, our colleagues’ extended know-how. In cooperation with the Engineering office in Brussels, SABCA Limburg is also responsible for the flap track fairings of several aircraft. On the other hand, the Space industry is also present in this plant with the final system integration of Ariane and Vega assemblies.
Mission:
For the Cleanroom at SABCA Limburg, we are looking for a machine operator who is willing to work in 2 shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing molds: placing and positioning film
- Setting up the machine for each part (G650, F6X...)
- Mounting and adjusting rolls
- Laminating parts according to procedures
- Performing quality checks during the lamination process
- Completing documentation according to procedure
- Moving molds/tools with a crane or forklift
- Using tracking systems for logging materials and orders
- Collaboration and responsibility concerning the EN9100 quality standard and ISO 14001 environmental standard.
Profile:
- A2/A3 technical education
- Knowledge of NC programs
- Ability to work very precisely and independently
- You prioritize safety and quality above all
- You report problems/errors immediately
- Forklift and crane operation certificates, or willingness to obtain them
- Knowledge of Dutch and English (technical)
