Field Application Specialist (FAS) covering the BNL Region (focus region: Wallonia-Luxembourg)
The Field Application Specialist is responsible for installation, demonstration, training, troubleshooting, and follow‑up of the instrument portfolio at customer sites. The FAS acts as a subject‑matter expert, providing advanced product knowledge, answering complex customer questions, and works in close collaboration with the sales, FSE and MKT teams.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Monitor installed base
- Perform installations of new instruments and associated training and validation
- Conduct professional customer demonstrations and trainings
- Provide IT support (software solution, LIS connection, data handling) related to Sebia configurations
- Ensure scientific support (internal and external)
- Assure quality follow up in case of customer complaints:
- Promote new assays on the existing installed base.
- Support in tender documents
- Facilitate products strategies aligned with the company goals
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor or master’s in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biochemistry or Lab technician
- +3 years of relevant experience
- Insights of the clinical lab or experience as lab technician is an asset
- Feeling with autoimmunity and/or electrophoresis is a plus
- Knowledge of IT, business‑related tools and network
- Written and verbal communication skills in French and English; proficiency in Dutch is a nice to have
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle sensitive information with discretion
