Data Engineer – Manufacturing F/M/X

Amaris Consulting is looking for a Data Engineer to support the digital transformation of industrial operations. You will design and optimize data solutions that turn manufacturing data into reliable insights and support better business decision-making.

• Design and maintain data ingestion pipelines and integration solutions.
• Build and optimize data flows using modern data platforms.
• Work with SAP and other data sources to ensure reliable data extraction and integration.
• Develop scalable data models for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support Power BI reporting by providing reliable and well-structured data.
• Troubleshoot data issues and continuously improve data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to data engineering standards, documentation, and governance.
• Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in data engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong experience with Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, data pipelines, and data modelling.
• Good understanding of SAP data and structures.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
