We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team working on a European Commission project in the Social Security domain. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional experts, and technical teams to analyse needs and deliver clear functional specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse and document business processes, requirements, and functional needs.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder meetings to elicit requirements.
- Produce Business Requirements Documents, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Model AS-IS and TO-BE processes using BPMN or equivalent techniques.
- Support solution design, validation and User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario creation.
- Maintain requirements traceability and manage change impact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate communication between business and technical teams and prepare project documentation and presentations.
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
- Strong domain knowledge of Social Security, benefits, entitlements and related public-sector services.
- Proven experience in requirements engineering, functional analysis and process modelling (BPMN).
- Hands-on experience with UAT, test scenario development and validation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid project environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with European Commission or EU public-sector projects.
- Familiarity with EU Social Security Coordination regulations and cross-border processes.
- Knowledge of tools such as UML, Jira, Confluence and multilingual team collaboration.
