- Daily processing of purchase invoices and bank transactions
- Following up on and executing payments to suppliers
- Preparing and following up on tax returns (VAT returns, Intracommunity statements, recovery of foreign VAT, annual client listing, etc.)
- Assisting with year-end adjustments, performing checks, and making corrections where necessary
- Supporting colleagues in Assistant Accountant roles regarding VAT and accounting entries, as well as training staff on using new digital tools and systems
- Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation within financial processes
- Leading projects to implement new digital tools and systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience
- A few years of experience in a similar role
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and administrative skills
- Extensive knowledge of Excel; experience with Navision and Power BI is a plus
- Strong communication skills with an excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (both spoken and written)
