Senior Sub-System Manager – English required - ALTEN Belgium
The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Sub-System Manager to join our teams and work on client projects located in Charleroi.
As a Sub-System Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and objectives.
- Managing planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ensuring robust reporting, including monthly project reviews and KPI tracking.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project challenges.
- Representing the project in interactions with customers and partners when necessary.
Your Profile
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 7–10 years in project management, work package management, or a similar role
- Industry Background: Experience in rail/transport, aerospace/defense, automotive, or industrial projects
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with French as a plus
- International Exposure: Experience working in multinational environments
- Key Skills: Cross-functional team coordination, multi-site project execution, stakeholder and supplier management, strong reporting and financial tracking
- Soft Skills: Proactive, adaptable, structured, and results-driven mindset
