Our client, a prominent organization in the public transport sector, is looking for a Functional Analyst to join their digital commerce team. The project focuses on enhancing international sales channels and passenger applications to deliver a modern, sustainable mobility experience.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to document requirements, objectives, and complex processes.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories for IT applications.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and architectural standards.
  • Support the quality assurance lifecycle by developing test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and resolve functional defects while providing continuous guidance to project teams.
  • Document API specifications and provide feasibility studies for new digital services.
  • 5+ years of experience in business and functional analysis within Agile or SAFe environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with business process modelling using BPMN or UML.
  • 5+ years of experience writing User Stories and managing SDLC methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience performing functional analysis within a Sitecore CMS environment.
  • You possess professional experience in the public transport or e-commerce sectors.
  • You bring technical knowledge of international rail travel systems, including PNR, content distribution, and seat reservations.
  • You have experience with API documentation and feasibility study execution.
  • You're detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • You are fluent in English with a C1 level in Dutch or French.

  • Experience with multi-channel digital sales platforms.
