As a Technical Draughtsman in Eksaarde, you will contribute to technical designs for bespoke steel structures and pipework within heavy industry. You will translate concepts, measurements and site data into clear workshop drawings and support projects from design through to implementation.
You’ll combine drafting work with a hands‑on approach, regularly moving between the office and the workshop. By working closely with welders, fitters and project colleagues, you’ll ensure that your designs are both technically accurate and feasible.
Your responsibilities:
- Developing and detailing steel structures and piping solutions.
- Preparing workshop drawings and implementation plans.
- Carrying out basic measurements and assisting with 3D scans on site.
- Liaising with the workshop regarding technical feasibility and implementation.
- Supporting projects involving bespoke work, metal structures and pipework.
- Monitoring the accuracy, quality and practical applicability of the designs
Voor deze functie zoeken we een technisch sterke en leergierige tekenaar met interesse in staalconstructies en industriële toepassingen. Je hebt een goed ruimtelijk inzicht, werkt nauwkeurig en vindt het boeiend om ontwerpen te maken die ook effectief in de praktijk gerealiseerd worden.
Jouw profiel:
- Je beschikt over een technische opleiding (bv. mechanica, elektromechanica, bouw) of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring en interesse.
- Je hebt ervaring in technisch tekenen of een gelijkaardige technische functie.
- Je hebt kennis van CAD-software zoals Tekla Structures, Inventor of AutoCAD.
- Je kan technische informatie interpreteren en vertalen naar duidelijke tekeningen.
- Je werkt gestructureerd, nauwkeurig en communiceert vlot met collega’s van atelier en techniek.
- Je bent bereid om af en toe op locatie opmetingen uit te voeren.
- Ervaring met staalconstructies, piping of industriële projecten is een plus.
Een hands‑on ingesteldheid, technische nieuwsgierigheid en de motivatie om bij te leren zijn belangrijker dan een uitgebreid cv.
