Our client is an established international company active within the insurance sector. With a strong presence in Belgium, they focus on delivering high-quality services while continuously improving their operations and processes. They are currently looking for a Manager Accounts Payable & Treasury to join their Brussels office.
Description
- Lead, coach and develop a team within Accounts Payable and Treasury
- Responsible for recruitment, performance management and team development
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and bank transactions
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end closings within AP & Treasury
- Guarantee the quality, accuracy and compliance of financial processes
- Organise, monitor and optimise workflows
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with regulations
- Act as a key stakeholder and business partner within Finance and across departments
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- Relevant experience within Accounts Payable and Treasury
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience with SAP FI and financial systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good understanding of compliance, tax and internal controls
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English
- Proven experience in people management and coaching
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, hands-on and improvement-driven
- Team player with a high sense of ownership
