We are looking for a Senior Accountant on a permanent contract for one of our clients.

Salary: €4000 – 5000 monthly depending on profile

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate Belgian GAAP accounts and internal management reporting.
- Oversee full-cycle accounting activities (AP/AR, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and account cleanups).
- Prepare Belgian VAT filings, coordinate foreign VAT declarations with external advisors, and maintain internal control standards aligned with group policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, preparing documentation and resolving inquiries.
- Assist with cash-flow forecasting, liquidity management, credit facilities, and payment approvals.
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar Senior Accountant role.
- Strong working knowledge of Belgian GAAP & local VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with standard accounting software (ideally BOB ).
- Fluency in French and English.
- Autonomous, analytical, organized, and collaborative approach to work.
