- Engage with defence and security users to understand situational-awareness and force-protection needs and scope solutions
- Design, build, and deploy Palantir Foundry data pipelines, ontology models, and operator-facing applications
- Integrate live intelligence into existing workflows, common operating pictures, and command-and-control tooling
- Build and tune custom widgets based on user needs
- Own solutions end to end, from initial whiteboard concept through operational deployment
- Debug infrastructure, networking, and application issues in restricted, disconnected, or on-premise settings
- Advise customer engineers and operators and relay feedback into the product
- Travel to customer sites and operations centres in Europe approximately 25%–75% of the time
Requirements
- Strong engineering background in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or an equally technical field
- Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience with pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories, Workbooks, and application development
- Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash, or Go
- Three years or more of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering experience shipping systems into production
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models and reason about technical decisions’ operational impact
- Experience with containers such as Docker or Podman and orchestration such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Solid Linux, networking, and on-premise fundamentals
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and shifting objectives
- Active NATO clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to travel and work on site in secure customer facilities
- Right to work in the EU, or UK-based eligibility
- Nice to have: experience in classified, air-gapped, or disconnected environments; defence, intelligence, national-security, or emergency-management background; geospatial platforms such as Esri or ArcGIS; command-and-control systems; front-end frameworks; NATO and national defence accreditation and compliance; a second European language
