Responsibilities
- Analyze budget variances and challenge or advise budget holders
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and implement improvements
- Actively contribute to the monthly closing process with a focus on production costs and SG&A
- Report monthly group results and various KPIs
- Ensure all processes comply with J-SOX and other internal control frameworks
- Translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
Requirements
- Higher education degree in a financial field
- Preferably, initial experience as a controller or within audit
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP and Power BI is a strong asset
- Critical and proactive mindset; not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to separate key issues from less relevant details
- A team player who contributes to an open, constructive, and positive team atmosphere
