Position
Hanover is looking for an ambitious and motivated Intern to join our team in Brussels. The successful candidate will support the team on policy and communications across a number of EU policy areas. Key responsibilities will include drafting policy materials, monitoring policy developments, evaluating and researching services, supporting events (organisation and attendance) as well as administrative support with clients and new business activity.
Main responsibilities
- Monitoring legislative developments
- Targeted research and policy analysis
- Support with communications, social media campaigns and event organisation
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of EU institutions and EU decision‑making process; previous internship in EU institutions/Trade Association is an asset
- Self‑motivated team player
- Quick learner enjoying a fast‑paced working environment
- Good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, AI tools, social media/marketing tools)
- Excellent oral and written English is essential; knowledge of other European languages is an asset
- Relevant degree, preferably in law, EU studies or political science
The internship lasts 6 months, with potential to extend. It is Brussels‑based, and the successful applicant is expected to start at the end of August.
