Our client, a prominent organization in the public security sector, is establishing a specialized center for simulation and robotics. The project involves developing high-fidelity XR training simulators using Unity and C# to prepare personnel for diverse operational scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain XR simulator systems and mechanics using Unity and C#.
  • Write clean, maintainable code while implementing debugging and optimization techniques for simulator performance.
  • Collaborate with 3D artists, designers, and operational end-users to ensure simulation authenticity.
  • Implement core XR training features and interactive scenarios that reflect real-world situations.
  • Ensure smooth performance across various XR platforms through identification and resolution of bottlenecks.
  • Create rapid prototypes and iterate on features to meet specific training requirements.

Requirements

  • You have 1+ years experience in game development using Unity and C#.
  • You bring experience in developing XR simulators (VR, AR, MR) specifically for training or simulation environments.
  • You possess a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating past technical development work.
  • You have a strong grasp of physics, mathematics, and algorithms as applied to simulator development.
  • You have knowledge of game design principles and interactive training mechanics.
  • You're a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills for working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • You have active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with 3D scanning, LIDAR, or photogrammetry and digital reconstruction.
  • Prior experience in operational training environments or security services.
