Job Description
The Key Account Manager FMCG will be in charge of the following responsibilities :
- Manage and develop relationships with major retail and strategic accounts.
- Lead the negotiation of annual agreements, pricing, promotional plans, and commercial terms.
- Build and implement joint business plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop account-specific strategies to maximize performance.
- Monitor sales performance, customer profitability, and category trends through data-driven analysis.
- Forecast sales accurately and manage account budgets effectively.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers and present recommendations to drive growth.
- Track competitor activity, market developments, and consumer trends to inform commercial decisions.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 3 years of experience in Key Account Management, Category management, Trade Marketing or Customer Development within FMCG sector.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Highly results-oriented with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
- Fluent in French or Dutch with a good comprehension of the other national language. English mandatory.
