As our Head of Quality, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving and further developing the Quality Management System at Eurofilters. You create a company-wide “qualityfirst” mindset via cross‑functional collaboration & education. You develop a team of quality technicians and will report directly to our Managing Director.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of Quality Management (e.g., material laboratory, metrology, quality control during production, supplier qualification, auditing and support with regard to QM topics).
- Strengthening and further development of the established quality management organization.
- Organization and preparation of factory auditing (e.g., ISO 9001) to realize an integrated management system.
- Documentation of internal audits and quality assurance activities.
- Ensuring the quality of manufacturing and business processes and the quality of end products to assure alignment with legal requirements, customer requirements and company standards.
- Planning, implementation and optimization of quality strategies and quality management methods in coordination with other Miele Group plants and suppliers.
- Implementation of improvement projects.
- Further development and optimization of the quality assurance system and processes.
- Technical and disciplinary management of the quality department.
- Development of technological expertise in the plant through appropriate personnel development and further training in the areas of material analysis, measurement technology, plastics processing, process optimization.
- Driving data‑based quality improvement using KPIs, statistical analysis and risk‑based thinking.
- Identifying improvement potential through performance monitoring and implementing targeted measures to reduce cost of poor quality and increase customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Completed technical studies in the field of engineering with ideally a specialization in Quality Management.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Quality Management.
- Experience in change projects and process optimization (ideally with certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or higher).
- Experience in setting up and permanently implementing modern Quality Management processes (inspection during production, final product inspections, metrology and material analyses).
- Knowledge of the requirements for the management system of a plant from ISO 9001 and knowledge of all elements of an integrated management system.
- Knowledge of all relevant Quality Management methods and tools (such as FMEA, 8D report, SPC/statistical methods).
- Distinct analytical competence with very strong implementation skills and solution‑orientation.
- Good communication and leadership skills as well as cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Dutch mother tongue, good written and spoken English, German a plus.
