Reporting directly to the Group Chief Quality & Product Safety Officer, this strategic position is responsible for the governance, development, and continuous improvement of the Group Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Information Systems, and Product Safety Assurance processes across Sonaca Group.

Corporate Quality Management System

  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve the Group Quality Management System.
  • Ensure alignment with aerospace regulatory, customer, and certification requirements, including EN/AS91xx.
  • Develop and deploy corporate quality policies, standards, procedures, and governance processes, in complement and coherence with local ones.
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of quality practices across all Group entities where necessary.
  • Coordinate management reviews and monitor the effectiveness of the QMS.

Quality Information Systems

  • Define and lead the roadmap for Quality Digitalization and Information Systems.
  • Ensure effective deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of Quality IT tools and platforms.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through quality dashboards, KPIs, analytics, and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering and operational teams to optimize quality-related business processes.

Product Safety Assurance

  • Establish and maintain the Group Product Safety Assurance framework.
  • Ensure integration of Product Safety principles into quality and operational processes.
  • Support sites in the management of product safety risks and related investigations.
  • Promote a strong Product Safety culture across the organization.
  • Monitor compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry Product Safety requirements.

Leadership and Continuous Improvement

  • Manage a team of around 3 people and have a functional management link to local QA focal points.
  • Lead cross-functional and international improvement initiatives.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and promote innovation within Quality and Product Safety processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on quality governance and product safety matters.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management within the aerospace industry.
  • Significant experience in a multinational and multi-site industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of aerospace quality standards and regulations, including EN/AS9100, 9110 & 9120, NATO requirements (such as AQAP & PECAL) and customer-specific requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Management Systems governance and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of Part 21, Part 145, Safety Management System, Product Safety Assurance principles and risk management methodologies.
  • Experience in quality digitalization and business process transformation initiatives.
  • Solid knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools (8D, RCA, FMEA, APQP, Six Sigma, Lean, CAPA, etc.).
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
