Praktijk De Puzzel, founded by Ann Huysmans, has been an established physiotherapy practice in Retie for over 20 years. Today, we are taking the step from a dedicated physiotherapy practice to a multidisciplinary group practice and are actively working on expanding to additional practice location(s) in Retie (2470) and Mol (2400).
To strengthen our pediatric team and support the expansion of our practice locations in Retie (2470) and Mol (2400), we are looking for a graduated pediatric physiotherapist.
- You are responsible for the intake, standardized motor testing, and drawing up a tailored treatment plan for infants, toddlers, primary school children, and adolescents.
- You treat and guide children with needs in early motor development (positional preference, milestones), gross and fine motor skills, handwriting skills, psychomotor skills, DCD, and respiratory physiotherapy.
- You inform and advise parents with targeted exercises and practical tips for home.
- You ensure clear clinical reporting and maintain communication with referring physicians (GPs, pediatricians), schools, and student guidance centers (CLB).
- You participate in internal case discussions with fellow physiotherapists, speech therapists, and child psychologists within the practice.
Your profile
- You hold a Master in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy (specialization in pediatric rehabilitation / children).
- You hold a professional visa and RIZIV/INAMI number (or are currently applying for one as a recent graduate).
- Both recent graduates and physiotherapists with several years of clinical experience are eligible.
- You work independently and in a structured manner, while valuing collegial and multidisciplinary consultation.
- You communicate fluently, empathetically, and professionally with children, parents, and external care partners.
What we offer
- Entry into an established practice with over 20 years of experience and a steady patient inflow in the Retie and Mol region.
- Work in Retie (2470), Mol (2400), or a combination of both locations in fully equipped, child-friendly therapy rooms (including testing and therapy materials).
- Part-time or full-time collaboration; hours, working days, and schedule build-up are agreed upon together.
- Clinical guidance, peer consultation (intervision), and on-the-floor support — ideal for recent graduates looking for a solid start.
- Room for further specialization and enriching continuing education (including via Education Academy , of which Ann Huysmans is also managing director).
