Job Description
Our client, a company operating in the industrial and real-time systems sector, is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to lead system and software verification and validation activities as part of a strategic software development program in the guided transportation sector.
The client develops advanced supervision platforms combining IT/OT, artificial intelligence, and real-time processing. They operate in multi-technical and high-criticality environments, supporting industrial applications and transportation systems.
Responsibilities
- Define test strategies at software, integration, and system levels
- Prepare test cases and scenarios
- Automate tests where relevant
- Execute test campaigns and analyze results
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Collaborate closely with development, quality, and safety teams
- Write test reports and summaries
- Participate in technical reviews and quality audits
Required qualifications
Candidate Profile
- Around 3 years of experience in system or software testing for safety-critical applications
- Experience in critical environments (rail, aerospace, defense, etc.)
- Strong ability to produce clear and compliant technical documentation
- Solid programming experience
- Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy, and team spirit
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
- Familiarity with critical system standards and SIL levels
