Ghent University invites applications for a PhD researcher (First Stage Researcher, R1) in civil/mechanical engineering focused on fire and multi-hazard performance of structures. The project is a joint PhD with ULiège and UGent, starting no earlier than 31/12/2027, with a 12-month initial period and a total maximum of 48 months.
The role requires an MSc in Structural/Mechanical/Risk engineering, strong English, and the ability to work across institutions with an advisory board.
