Ghent University invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) to join a 4-year project on snap fit joints. The PhD focuses on experimental characterization using DIC and high-speed imaging, expanding to long-term creep loading with temperature effects.
Applicants must hold a Master degree and show a strong interest in experimental mechanics of materials, with enthusiasm for academia-industry collaboration. Prof. Wim VAN PAEPEGEM leads the team.
