YOUR TASKS
TRASlab (Technology for a Resource Agile Society) focuses on sustainable production and treatment processes. In the framework of a new microbial protein production project in collaboration with industrial partners we are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to assist in the laboratory based development of microbial protein production processes, notably focusing on optimizing growth conditions and improving overall process sustainability.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You hold a thesis-based doctorate in bio-engineering, biotechnology or equivalent specialties.
- You are interested in microbial biotechnology and research, have the ambition to operate bioreactors at laboratory scale and work closely together with industry.
- You are fluent in English, which is essential in the international context, and can report clearly in English.
- You are willing to work together internationally.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- We offer a contract of definite duration for the period from 3 months, to be extended with another 10 months pending funding decisions.
- Your contract will start on 1/09/2026 at the earliest.
