Every day, people rely on Chemours chemistry for safer, more sustainable living. Chemours is seeking a Senior REACH Regulatory Compliance Consultant to join our Product Sustainability team. This position reports directly to the EMEA Product Regulatory Compliance Manager and can be based in Barcelona (preferred) or Asturias, Spain, or Brussels or Mechelen, Belgium on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will serve as the regulatory expert for a dedicated part of Chemours' Thermal & Specialized Solutions (TSS) business. You will ensure compliance with REACH, F-gas and related chemical regulations while assessing regulatory developments, supporting market access activities, engaging with industry stakeholders, and helping translate complex requirements into practical business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage REACH compliance activities and registration dossiers for assigned products.
- Monitor regulatory developments and evaluate potential business impacts.
- Support F-gas compliance activities and regulatory obligations.
- Provide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Support product stewardship and market access activities across EMEA.
- Prepare regulatory documentation, compliance statements and impact assessments.
- Collaborate with commercial, technical, legal and sustainability teams.
- Participate in industry associations, consortia and external regulatory forums.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions.
- Drive continuous improvement of regulatory processes, tools and data quality.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Sciences or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship or product compliance within the chemical industry.
- Hands‑on experience with REACH registration dossiers.
- Working knowledge of REACH-IT and IUCLID.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational business actions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team.
Preferred
- Experience with fluorinated chemistries, refrigerants or specialty chemical portfolios.
- Familiarity with EU F-gas regulations.
- Knowledge of CLP, UK REACH or Turkey KKDIK.
- Experience with SAP EHS, Power BI or regulatory databases.
- Participation in industry associations or regulatory working groups.
- Additional European language skills including Dutch or French.

Pay Range (in local currency)
- €64,800.00 - €140,875.00
Annual Bonus Target
