Task Package – Truck Driver CE (Livestock and Straw Transport)

As a CE driver, you are responsible for safely and correctly performing transport assignments, focusing on livestock and straw transport within Belgium and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Transport live animals (mainly livestock) while respecting animal welfare and applicable laws and regulations.
• Load and unload animals calmly and carefully; experience or affinity with animals is an asset.
• Transport straw, agricultural machines, and accessories both nationally and internationally.
• Load and unload straw bales and machines with proper attention to stability, safety, and efficiency.
• Manage transport documents, including trip sheets, export/import papers, health certificates, etc.
• Check and keep onboard documents, permits, and other required papers for transporting animals or agricultural goods in order.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained; signal small defects or irregularities promptly.
• Adapt flexibly to changing trips or routes, depending on planning or transport conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid CE driver’s license, driver card, and Code 95.
• Interest in or experience with livestock transport and willingness to work with live animals in accordance with animal welfare regulations.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation; all documents must be accurate and in order.
• Stress‑resistant, responsible, and able to work independently on the road.
• Physical ability for loading/unloading animals, straw, or machines.
• Comfortable with night work, viewing it as an advantage.
• Flexible regarding planning and availability, and open to a 4‑day schedule (in consultation).
