Position

Vygon is looking for an Account Manager to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important customers, the hospitals.

You take ownership of your accounts, nurturing long-term partnerships within the hospitals. You act as a trusted advisor and understand the clients’ clinical and operational challenges. You position Vygon’s cutting-edge solutions as the right answer to these challenges. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing the business to achieve long-term success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive market growth: expand the client portfolio in Antwerp, Flemish Brabant and Limburg and secure loyal partnerships;
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements;
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing innovative solutions that meet their objectives;
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner;
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams;
  • Play an integral part in pre-tender management and generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships;
  • Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

Profile

  • You have obtained a bachelor’s/master’s degree in nursing, physiotherapy, marketing, sales, nutrition or another relevant field;
  • You have either a track record in account management or relevant experience in a medical business environment;
  • You can multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently;
  • You possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills and have an in-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry;
  • Your commercial feeling is translated into strong negotiation skills, with the ability to follow through on client contracts;
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language (both written and spoken) and a basic conversational level of French.
