Your role

As a Pressure Part Drafter, you will be responsible for producing and coordinating the detailed manufacturing drawings of pressure parts for international energy projects.

Working under the supervision of the Drafters Manager and in close collaboration with Technical Project Managers, you will ensure that engineering documentation is delivered on time, complies with internal quality standards and contractual requirements, and supports the successful execution of each project.

Beyond drafting activities, you will progressively take ownership of complete project scopes, coordinating the work of detail drafters located in India while ensuring technical consistency and project follow-up.

Each project typically extends over several months, requiring excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.

Your key responsibilities

You will:

  • Produce General Arrangement and detailed manufacturing drawings for pressure parts.
  • Prepare and update engineering documentation in accordance with John Cockerill's Quality Management System.
  • Verify the completeness of engineering inputs before starting design activities.
  • Ensure technical compliance with customer specifications, internal standards and applicable codes.
  • Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Coordinate detailed drafting activities performed by the drafting team in India.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers and manufacturing teams.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Share technical knowledge and contribute to standardisation activities.
  • Progressively evolve towards the role of Lead Drafter, managing the complete drafting scope of assigned projects.

Your team

You will join Thomas Neufcour's team, composed of experienced designers and drafters in Belgium working in close collaboration with an international drafting office located in India.

The team is currently experiencing sustained growth, with an increasing number of projects running simultaneously. Strong collaboration between Belgium and India is therefore essential to ensure quality, consistency and timely project execution.
