Role Description This full-time on-site role is based in Limburg and focuses on teaching electricity, electronics, and ICT to students in the 3rd grade TSO. The teacher is responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lessons (TV), aligned with the curriculum and school standards. Daily activities include guiding students in lab exercises and projects, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves assessing student performance, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with colleagues to support educational objectives and student well-being. Participation in team meetings, parent communication, and school events is an integral part of the position.
Qualifications
- Ability to design structured, clear Lesson Planning that supports practical and theoretical learning goals in electricity, electronics, and programming.
- Strong foundation in Education principles, including curriculum alignment, student-centered learning, and inclusive classroom practices.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and caregivers in a clear, respectful, and collaborative manner.
- Demonstrated Teaching experience or training in technical subjects such as electricity, electronics, or ICT at secondary school level.
- Competence in Training learners through hands-on practice, demonstrations, and guided exercises in a safe workshop or lab environment.
- Relevant technical qualification or degree in electricity, electronics, ICT, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or eligibility to teach in secondary education in Belgium (or willingness to obtain it).
- Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom climate that encourages diverse learners to participate and succeed.
- Strong organizational skills and reliability in managing lessons, assessments, and administrative tasks.
- Comfort with educational technologies and digital tools used in ICT and classroom management.
