BNP Paribas Fortis seeks an external Senior Business Analyst for a KYC front-end application. The consultant joins a KYC Squad within Tribe Customers. The mission calls for at least four years of relevant business analysis experience and seeks four or more years of BA experience in KYC. KYC IT project experience is mandatory, and purely operational KYC profiles are excluded.

The consultant owns a portion of the squad’s activities and works closely with other business analysts, the Product Owner, IT teams and testers. Responsibilities cover eliciting, analysing, documenting and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The role includes designing business processes, defining product requirements and use cases, supporting testing and conducting quality reviews. Stakeholder management and communication connect business needs to technical execution.

The assignment is located at Montagne du Parc 3 in Brussels. The stated assignment dates are 8 October 2026 to 8 October 2027. The work arrangement is 50% on site and 50% homeworking. Strong written and spoken English and either Dutch or French are required; scaled agile experience is also mandatory.

Responsibilities

Own squad activities — take responsibility for a portion of the KYC Squad’s activities, collaborating with other BAs, the Product Owner, IT teams and testers.

Elicit analyse document requirements — cover business, stakeholder, solution and transition requirements.

Collaborate with domain experts — work with product owners, architects and other subject matter experts to understand business and technology strategies, develop domain knowledge, identify high-level requirements and foster knowledge reuse and continuity across all program projects.

Define product requirements — identify detailed product requirements and use cases.

Define performance metrics — work with the project manager, architects and other team members on application metrics and performance goals.

Transition requirements knowledge — transfer requirements and use cases to designers and ensure clear and complete understanding.

Translate testing requirements — assist in converting requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance and user acceptance testing.

• Manage requirements traceability — support impact and coverage analysis.
• Review quality deliverables — participate in quality management reviews of designs, prototypes and other requirements work products to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
• Execute BA strategy — plan and execute requirements management, communicating, driving and managing business analysis through all project lifecycle phases.
• Coordinate delivery dependencies — partner with internal and external development and technology delivery organizations and prioritize dependencies on the BA to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Liaise with business — serve as liaison to the business community.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience as business analyst. (Mandatory)
