Job Title: Manager, Digital & Tech – Plant & Automation
City, Country: Louvain-la-Neuve (BE04), Belgium
The candidate will bring a motivating, energetic, and self‑driving personality toward the ongoing support and transformation of the Louvain-la-Neuve factory facility, as well as possible remote support of some other Europe sites. Effective IT Business Partnering and customer service management will be key in identifying, scoping, and planning of transformational solutions and upgrades for the site(s). The ability to manage & traverse an evolving matrixed organization will be essential.

Your key responsibilities:
- Provide support for defined factory solutions, ensure SLAs are met, relevant site Knowledge Base articles are up to date, support of quarterly IT patching & SAP release weekends, off‑hour escalation support (when/if needed).
- Serve as primary local IS Plant contact for all regional, affiliate & domain level matters.
- Support/manage the D&T and IT/OT Factory project portfolios by shaping & capturing demands aligned with business stakeholders and priorities.
- Collaborate with other global P&A team members on maturing and delivering solution standards and technical expertise across the common solutions & services at sites.
- Ensure that the ITIL standards around definition and management of IT/OT assets are maintained and that Asset inventories are up to date for your site(s).
- Contribute to the definition and enforcement of IT/OT architectural standards (software, infrastructure) together with Engineering, IT Security & Infrastructure teams.
- Provide functional knowledge to support business objectives (technology watch, best practices) pertaining to your factories, propose and document value‑added IT solutions. Anticipate problems and develop thoughtful & creative solutions.
- Contribute and be an innovation partner to other IT and business teams with respect to Industry 4.0 and other digital initiatives.

You bring:
- Over 5 years of IT experience, including IT/OT support, operations, and light project work.
- Extensive proven experience in manufacturing environments, including factory OT and process/batch industries.
- Management and managing/delivering in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to act in an independent manner and be self‑directed and self‑motivated in a high‑paced environment, with strong adaptability and effective communication skills.
- Preferred experience with several completed IT/OT factory projects requiring sound technical understanding, including ITEL tech. Knowledge of MES, Warehousing, and DCS is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Opcenter Execution Pharma (Siemens Suite) is required.
- Potential to grow in role and assume more complex roles as part of career plan.
- Good English language skills and fluent French are required.
