We're looking for a senior data coordinator to run day-to-day data governance, with a strong focus on coaching data stewards and improving data quality. You'll turn governance rules into practical processes and configure tools for data catalogues, business glossaries and quality controls.
What you'll do
- Coordinate cross-team governance issues from assignment through escalation to closure.
- Coach data stewards towards independent use of governance practices.
- Guide business term definitions through validation and publication.
- Lead data quality remediation from analysis to effectiveness checks.
- Maintain governance tools, metadata models and validation workflows.
- Prepare governance meetings with evidence and recommendations for decisions.
What you bring
- Senior experience in operational data governance and cross-team coordination.
- Coaching skills, including training materials and review of data stewards' analyses.
- Business glossary and metadata management, including definitions, synonyms and term lifecycles.
- Ability to challenge ambiguous definitions and build agreement across stakeholders.
- Practical data quality engineering: root-cause analysis, business impact, controls and remediation.
- Functional administration of data governance tools, including roles, workflows and publication rules.
- Ability to document and improve governance processes using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
- Experience with data product governance and catalogue processes.
- Agile and SCRUM experience.
- Confluence and testing skills.
- Knowledge of BCSS/eHealth.
- Experience in large organisations and the public sector.
- French, native.
