Looking for a hands-on job? Do you enjoy working outdoors? Our client, a stable and growing contractor active throughout Flanders and Brussels, is looking for a Road Worker to strengthen their team on a long-term basis.

You will join a close-knit team where collaboration is key and contribute daily to infrastructure projects that make a visible impact on the surrounding environment.

As a Road Worker, you will be involved in a variety of road construction and sewerage projects. Together with your colleagues, you will help ensure the high-quality execution of works on site.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out house connections and foundation works;
  • Installing drainage gullies, curbstones, and other infrastructure elements;
  • Removing manhole covers and performing preparatory earthworks;
  • Supporting the team with various site activities;
  • Actively collaborating with experienced colleagues who will provide on-the-job training and guidance.
  • Full-time position based on a 40-hour working week;
  • Gross hourly wage between €18.39 and €22.00 / hour(PC124);

You are the Road Worker we are looking for if you have the following profile:

  • Motivated and enjoy working outdoors;
  • Comfortable performing physical work;
  • Willing to start work early, with shifts beginning as early as 6:00 AM;
  • Sufficient knowledge of Dutch to understand and follow safety instructions and site directions;
  • Hold a valid Category B driving licence and a VCA certificate;
  • Experience in construction, roadworks, or infrastructure projects is an advantage but not required;
  • Reliable, eager to learn, and looking for a long-term opportunity.
