I'm partnering with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial data client in Belgium that helps ambitious organisations across the Benelux turn messy data into trusted, decision-ready assets. They're hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer for a client-facing role where commercial instinct matters as much as technical depth.
You'll sit in front of clients, challenge their thinking, dig into the "why" behind their questions, and shape solutions that deliver real business value, from mid-market companies to large enterprises modernising their data platforms.
What you need
- 4–6 years' experience as a Data or Analytics Engineer, including in a cloud environment
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Strong commercial and consulting mindset.
- Advanced SQL: window functions, CTEs, performance optimisation
- Hands-on dbt experience: project structure, testing, documentation, Jinja and YAML
- Data quality mindset. You care that "revenue" means the same thing everywhere
- Git and collaborative workflows: branching, code review, team development
- Working knowledge of Python
- Based in Belgium
