CE Truck Driver with On-Board Forklift

Overview

Truck driver position involving long-haul and regional routes with tractor-trailer combinations. Early starts are common, typically between 5:00 and 7:00. The role may include overnight trips and occasional border crossings. Primarily a national workload with opportunities for training on equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer combinations safely and in compliance with all laws and regulations.
• Make 4 to 6 stops per day and manage time on the road.
• Load, transport, and deliver various goods to customers.
• Perform basic loading/unloading assistance and vehicle inspections as required.
• Operate or learn to operate forklift equipment (fork truck) as needed; training provided if not already experienced.
• Adhere to schedules and routes, with potential night trips.
• Occasionally cross borders as part of assignments; ensure compliance with border regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CE driving license.
• Experience with loading, transporting, and delivering goods is expected; forklift experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work up to approximately 12 hours per day and start early in the morning.
• Willingness to perform night trips when required.
