Webmaster

VASCO Data Security is looking for a Webmaster to join the Marketing Department.

The mission of the Webmaster is to ensure that, from a user perspective, all key VASCO web- and micro-sites operate in an optimal way.

Key VASCO websites include: www.vasco.com, www.mydigipass.com and www.developer.mydigipass.com.

Key Tasks

• Monitor, optimize and maintain website behavior on a daily basis
• Monitor and solve incoming support tickets related to the website’s behavior & content
• Troubleshooting for all key VASCO sites
• Function as the liaison between the business stakeholders and IT
• Monitor and analyze web statistics
• Formulate web recommendations based on data analysis and industry best practices
• Ensure consistent website performance on all platforms: desktop and mobile
• Search Engine Optimization
• Continuously improve usability of the website and keep a user-centric approach
• Manage the application cards in the MYDIGIPASS.COM marketplace

Profile

• You have a Bachelor degree with at least two years of experience in a similar role
• You have affinity with web technologies
• You are familiar with various online marketing tactics, including paid search, social media, blogs, communities, e-bulletins, portals, webinars, podcasts, etc.
• Prior experience with CMS is a must
• Experience with creative design, rich media and blogs is a plus
• Development and database knowledge is a plus
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, HTML, XML,…
• You are user- and solution-oriented
• You are well-organized, stress-resistant and able to work against deadlines
• You are fluent in English and at least 1 other European language (preferably Dutch, French, German and/or Italian)
