SAP Transport

The SAP S/4HANA Transport & Release Manager will be responsible for governing and controlling the end-to-end transport and release process across the SAP S/4HANA (on-prem) landscape.

The role will ensure that all system changes are deployed in a controlled, secure and auditable manner while supporting testing cycles, project releases and production deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the SAP transport and release lifecycle across all environments.
• Coordinate transport movements between Development, QA, Pre-Production and Production systems.
• Define and enforce transport governance standards and release procedures.
• Plan and coordinate release calendars with project teams.
• Ensure transport dependencies and sequencing are properly managed.
• Support cutover planning and production deployments.
• Work closely with Basis, Development, Functional and Testing teams.
• Assess deployment risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with audit and change management requirements.
• Maintain release documentation and change records.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Transport & Release Management.
• Strong experience with SAP TMS (Transport Management System).
• Experience with SAP ChaRM and SAP Solution Manager.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA release management best practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP implementation programmes.
• Understanding of change management and deployment governance.
• Experience coordinating complex multi-stream releases.
• Fluent English.
