Mint Selection are partnered with a leading organisation within the European energy sector and are looking to recruit an experienced Offshore Construction Manager to support the successful delivery of a major offshore construction programme.

We are looking to speak with experienced Construction Managers who have a proven track record of delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects, with experience managing EPC contractors, driving HSEQ and quality standards, and supporting construction through to completion.

Scope of Work

  • Lead the safe and successful delivery of offshore construction activities, ensuring works are completed in line with programme, quality and HSEQ requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate Client Representatives and Project Engineers operating offshore.
  • Oversee EPC contractor performance across health & safety, quality and construction delivery.
  • Review method statements, risk assessments and construction procedures.
  • Produce regular progress reports, highlighting programme updates, key risks and mitigation plans.
  • Act as the primary site interface between the client and EPC contractor throughout the construction phase.
  • Support resource planning, onboarding and coordination of offshore personnel.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering, HSEQ, quality and project management teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Identify construction risks, resolve site issues and drive successful project execution.

Experience to be Considered

  • Proven experience working as a Construction Manager on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant construction experience.
  • Previous offshore construction experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of contractor management, HSEQ and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience reviewing RAMS, construction methodologies and project documentation.
  • Knowledge of structural works and corrosion protection would be advantageous.
  • Experience using ACONEX and Microsoft Office.
  • Offshore Medical, BOSIET (or equivalent) and Boat Landing certification preferred.

This is a long-term contract opportunity, with an initial office-based mobilisation period in Belgium followed by a rotational offshore working pattern. Candidates must have the right to work in Belgium or hold the appropriate work and residence permits.
