Imec offers a Master internship, PhD internship in Genk to develop stand-alone photoelectrochemical tandem devices for solar-driven water splitting, targeting low-cost, durable and efficient systems. This placement builds on the latest solar energy research.
The student will work with BiVO4 and CZTS, use solution processing, spray pyrolysis, and advanced PEC tools (IPCE, EIS, spectro-electrochemistry) in the EnergyVille lab, with emphasis on in-situ techniques to study PEC reactions.
