Work Model: Hybrid - Minimum 3 days onsite/week

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, Robot Framework and/or Selenium, test automation frameworks, and functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
The role involves testing web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications, developing automated test suites, managing defects, and ensuring software quality within an Agile/DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Develop, maintain and improve reusable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Robot Framework and/or Selenium.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system and E2E testing.
- Test web, mobile (Android/iOS), API and backend applications.
- Execute automated regression suites and analyse test failures.
- Perform API testing, data validation and SQL-based verification.
- Support performance, load, security and non-functional testing.
- Prepare test data, manage defects and track issues through resolution.
- Support UAT, test reporting, quality assessments and Go/No-Go decisions.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts in Agile/Scrum teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer / QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Robot Framework and/or Selenium.
- Good programming/scripting skills, preferably Python.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and regression suites.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and E2E testing.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and/or mobile applications.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, frontend/backend, and client-server architecture.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of performance testing, test coverage, risk assessment, and defect management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Appium or equivalent Android/iOS mobile automation tools.
- Performance/load testing and security testing exposure.
- Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- RabbitMQ, Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- Test data management, UAT coordination and release-readiness reporting.
