Akkodis is Hiring – Medior Mechanical Design Engineer | Aerospace Industry

As part of the expansion of our activities in Belgium, we are looking for a Medior Mechanical Design Engineer to join high value-added projects within a leading aerospace company based in Belgium.

• Design mechanical parts and tooling using CATIA V5
• Assess the industrial feasibility of designs in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing teams
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, 3D models, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing files
• Provide technical follow-up with suppliers and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Contribute to the mechanical assembly of prototypes and the validation of developed solutions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and industrial process optimization
• Collaborate with various project stakeholders and ensure smooth communication across teams
• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, Industrialization, or a related field
• 2 or 3 years of experience or an initial experience in mechanical design, aerospace, industrialization, or prototyping is a plus
• Motivated recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5
• Fluent French and professional English
