Freelance Opportunity | Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect
Languages: Dutch or French (mandatory) and English (mandatory)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect for a challenging assignment focused on infrastructure architecture, database technologies, high availability and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate end-to-end infrastructure solutions across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and architectural design initiatives.
- Design and maintain database architectures, including migrations, High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
- Work with Oracle, SQL Server (on-premises), Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Design scalable and resilient hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure best practices in enterprise storage, backup, restore and data protection.
- Deliver clear and comprehensive architectural documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on architecture, risks and project deliverables.
Required Profile
- Strong experience in infrastructure solution architecture, including on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
- Extensive expertise in database architecture, migrations, HA and disaster recovery.
- Hands-on knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure, enterprise storage and data protection.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A proactive mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Fluency in Dutch or French, combined with a good command of English.
