Our client, a major player in the industrial manufacturing sector, is looking for a hands‑on Infrastructure & Support Engineer to provide critical technical services for a large-scale production site. This role bridges local business operations with remote technical teams to ensure seamless infrastructure performance and end‑user support during a significant digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Act as the local technical representative for remote infrastructure teams, covering network, server, and security activities.
- Resolve complex networking and infrastructure incidents involving IP, DNS, Wi‑Fi, VLAN, and Cisco switching.
- Support operational technology and shopfloor environments including PLC connectivity, IoT devices, and industrial scanners.
- Manage meeting room technologies and coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and firmware updates.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for disaster recovery, backup procedures, and knowledge-base systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and external service providers to drive high-priority production issues to resolution.
Requirements
- You have broad hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure troubleshooting and end‑user support.
- You possess knowledge of networking fundamentals including IP, DNS, Wi‑Fi, VLAN, and Cisco switching concepts.
- You bring proficiency with Windows environments, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and SSO/MFA.
- You possess strong documentation and knowledge-management skills.
- You're able to maintain calm prioritization during production-impacting incidents.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Zebra scanner configuration.
- Knowledge of meeting room technologies such as Poly, Logitech, and Barco.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and SASE.
- Willingness to travel to other regional locations on rare occasions.
