Job title: SAP FICO Functional Developer
Experience: 8–10 years
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional Developer with strong expertise in SAP FI/CO, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cash Management and Credit Management. The role involves implementation, configuration, enhancement, testing and production support across integrated SAP processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, enhance and test SAP FI/CO solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience in New GL, payments, down payments, dunning, payment orders and security deposits.
- Manage Receivables, installment plans, clearing/liquidation processes, exchange rates and banking.
- Work on Cash Management, liquidity forecasting/planning and Credit Management.
- Handle Asset Accounting, including AUC, acquisitions, retirements and revaluation.
- Perform month-end closing using Closing Cockpit/FCLOCO and automatic closing concepts.
- Work across SD, MM, PP and PS integration processes.
- Prepare functional specifications (FSP) for WRICEF objects.
- Coordinate with implementation partners through design and UAT closure.
- Prepare work plans, track project status and support enhancement activities.
- Resolve operational incidents and maintain service tickets with appropriate documentation.
- Support FI teams and ensure agreed SLAs and support targets are consistently met.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP FI, CO, General Ledger, AR, Asset Accounting, Profit Centers and Reconciliation.
- Experience with SAP FICA, including Contract Accounts, billing/invoicing integration, payments, clearing, dunning and collections.
- Experience in SAP BW/BW4HANA, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, InfoProviders, data models and queries.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Experience in system, integration and UAT testing.
- Strong experience preparing test cases, test data, defect reports and functional documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP for HANA and integration with SD/MM/PP/PS is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field.
