We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our international team and contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across the entire technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications using modern web technologies and programming languages.
  • Develop front-end web architecture and design intuitive and effective user interactions.
  • Implement core business logic and server-side functionality.
  • Develop features across the entire technology stack, from user interfaces and API consumption to server-side business logic and database interactions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Apply data and security best practices, including input validation, authentication and authorisation, secure storage, compliant logging, and monitoring.
  • Design and develop responsive applications providing a consistent user experience.
  • Participate in the design and development of scalable software solutions.
  • Maintain code integrity, organisation, quality, and consistency across the full technology stack.
  • Write clean, functional, and maintainable front-end and back-end code.
  • Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring appropriate schema design and efficient data access.
  • Analyse application data, processes, and code to troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform unit and integration testing, debug issues, and validate code changes.
  • Integrate front-end and back-end builds and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using modern DevOps practices and containerisation technologies.
  • Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices to ensure consistent and repeatable environment provisioning.
  • Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements and align with user expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Bridge the gap between front-end and back-end development teams, facilitating communication and ensuring cohesive integration of system components.
  • Apply security and cloud best practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with international and multicultural teams, contributing both independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

  • Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, Vue.js, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with modern front-end build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
  • Professional experience with back-end technologies such as Java, Node.js, and/or PHP, with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
  • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience working with both relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and non-relational databases such as MongoDB, including schema design and query optimisation.
  • Experience with Git workflows, such as GitFlow or trunk-based development, and basic understanding of legacy version control systems such as SVN.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as AWS and Azure, with experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
  • Experience designing, building, and securing RESTful APIs and web services, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
  • Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorisation protocols and standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
  • Experience integrating front-end and back-end builds into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of security and cloud best practices.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new projects, technologies, and development environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
