System Engineer Data Centre Infrastructure

Are you eager to help manage and optimise our data centre infrastructure? Do you have experience with electricity, HVAC, fire safety, security and/or project management?

• You coordinate initiated projects, monitor and evaluate external parties involved in these projects
• You prepare and manage documentation related to the specifications of technical installations
• You oversee and optimise maintenance activities to ensure the correct operation of technical installations
• You coordinate and carry out technical support tasks related to the existing infrastructure.
• You manage technical procedures and standard solutions within Global Operations, in line with applicable norms, standards, and procedures
• You monitor the progress, budget, quality, risks, and communication of the projects entrusted to you
• You perform in‑depth analyses of electrical, HVAC and security installations
• You participate in an on‑call duty (approximately 10 weeks per year).

What you need to succeed:

• You hold a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences: Electromechanics
• You have at least five years of experience, preferably within a data center environment
• Experience with electricity, HVAC, fire safety, security and/or project management is essential
• Your interests lie in both technical project management and theoretical analysis
• You are eager to learn, have a passion for technology and closely follow developments within your field of expertise
• You have strong communication skills and you are flexible and pragmatic
• You combine an innovative mindset with a strong team spirit
• You work at least two days per week from our datacenter in Hasselt (Universiteitslaan), combined with remote work
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
