We are working with an established engineering and manufacturing employer in Antwerp who are looking for a permanent Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The role will focus on turbo machinery, 3D design optimisation and reverse engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise mechanical designs for turbo machinery applications.
- Carry out reverse engineering of existing turbo machinery and components.
- Analyse and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reliability and manufacturability.
- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of design solutions from concept through to completion.
About you
- Previous experience working with turbo machinery is essential.
- Strong experience with Ansys.
- A Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong 3D CAD and modelling experience.
- A good communicator and team player with the ability to work effectively within a wider engineering team.
