The role

As a Senior Infrastructure Migration Expert, you will lead large-scale cloud migration programmes for enterprise clients, orchestrating the transition of complex workloads from legacy or on-premises environments to cloud-native platforms. You will own the migration strategy end to end — from discovery through to hypercare — managing risks, go/no-go decisions, and multi-stakeholder escalations. You will be the go-to reference for our clients' IT leadership on cloud migration, and will actively contribute to the development of migration assets, tooling, and practice capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end cloud migration programmes: discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and hypercare.
  • Define and own comprehensive migration strategies covering lift-and-shift, replatforming, and refactoring. Ensure alignment with client objectives, application dependencies, technical and business constraints, project timelines and inter-dependencies…
  • Define migration waves, sequencing, and cutover plans for complex, multi-platforms environments.
  • Architect the target-state infrastructure and oversee IaC provisioning across multi-cloud environments.
  • Define workloads and applications migration approaches: Data schema evolution, dual-write strategies, data replication and integrity validation.
  • Coordinate offshore/onshore project delivery teams, ensuring readiness at each stage and following up on progress and blockers.
  • Manage migration risk, go/no-go decisions, and stakeholder escalations.
  • Drive Post-migration activities, Hyper-Care period and transition of operations to RUN teams, including implementation of backup, observability, OS patching, privileged access, documentation updates…
  • Drive rightsizing, cost optimisation, and FinOps practices on migrated infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with client on decommissioning of legacy infrastructure and reduction of technical debt.
  • Mentor junior migration engineers, develop reusable migration patterns, and contribute to knowledge repositories.
  • Engage with client CxOs and programme sponsors to communicate progress, risk, and value delivered.
  • Contribute to migration tooling, automation frameworks, and practice capability development.

Your profile

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English and French and/or Dutch is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in cloud migration at enterprise scale across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and/or Private Clouds — multiple end-to-end programmes delivered.
  • Mastery of migration strategies and tooling: AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, Velero, CloudEndure, AWS DMS, VMWare HCX, Nutanix…
  • Excellent infrastructure knowledge across multiple infrastructure technologies and tools: SAN/NAS storage, backup, infrastructure monitoring, Virtualization platforms (VMWare, RedHat OpenShift…)
  • Good understanding of Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
  • Good understanding of network and routing principles (segmentation, vlans, subnets, firewalling, VRFs, NSX…)
  • Good knowledge of Data Centers and hosting, Data Center LAN networks, security principles
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance during migrations (encryption, IAM, audit logs, NIS2).
  • Experience leading cross-functional migration teams: networking, security, application, and FinOps.
  • Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments and enterprise IT operating models.
  • Ability to define and manage SLAs, KPIs, and success metrics for migration programmes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including CxO-level reporting.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with mainframe or SAP workload migrations to cloud.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes-based wor
