Investment Lending Product Expert

Are you a driven Product Expert in Investment Loans who’s ready to support our client on a freelance assignment? In this challenging role, you’ll manage the investment loan offering from start to finish. You’ll develop and introduce innovative credit solutions, evaluate market trends, and turn them into profitable opportunities. With your in-depth knowledge and experience in the financial sector, you’ll serve as the link between business and IT. • You will manage the investment loan portfolio from start to finish, including defining and developing new loan solutions and optimizing existing products.
• You will develop and launch new products, processes, and solutions within the investment loan sector.
• You will actively monitor market trends, competitive developments, and changes within the lending sector, and translate these into concrete opportunities for new or improved products and services.
• You evaluate these opportunities based on profitability, pricing, costs, and the impact on the income statement, and closely monitor the performance of the investment loan portfolio.
• You ensure that the applicable regulatory framework and credit policy are integrated from the start of product development, and work closely with stakeholders such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, Sales, Distribution, and IT to successfully develop and implement products and processes.
• You actively contribute to the development of pricing models and the further refinement of pricing systems.
• You serve as a liaison between the business and IT and help devise the technical solutions needed to develop and optimize the investment loan offering.

The ideal candidate:

• Has in-depth knowledge of investment loans, which is essential for this role.
• Has at least 4 years of experience in roles such as Product Expert, Product Specialist, Offering Manager, or a comparable position within the financial sector.
• Has a background in product management, preferably supplemented by experience in the sales, distribution, or development of investment loans.
• Brings valuable experience from a commercial role within a bank, focused on investment loans.
• Is capable of developing new credit solutions, processes, and proposals from scratch.
• Has an affinity for technical issues and actively contributes ideas regarding systems, technical tools, and pricing mechanisms.
• Possesses an innovative mindset and maintains an open perspective on market trends and the impact of new technologies on products and services.
• Pays attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• Has a strong sense of responsibility and is willing to go beyond the required tasks.
• Has experience managing relevant stakeholders and can bring different parties together, challenge them, and inspire them to realize a shared vision.
• Possesses strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to quickly understand complex information and translate it into clear conclusions.
