We are currenly looking for a Junior Tax Litigator to join our Tier 1 Tax Dispute Resolution Team. Our team consists out of 16 lawyers and holds quite some expertise with Annick Visschers (Prof. Fiscale Hogeschool), Filip Smet, Alexander Baert (Prof. Fiscale Hogeschool) and Academic Advisors/Of counsels Johan Speecke and Raf Verstraeten (Prof. KUL).
Responsibilities
- Assist clients during tax audits / dawn raids
- Plead in court
- Negotiate with fiscal authorities
- Advise clients in terms of risk management
Qualifications
- Hold a law degree – additional qualifications or international experience (Manama / LLM / MBA) are valuable
- 1 to 3 years of experience preferably in litigation, though an excellent tax specialist is also welcomed if keen on litigation development
- Additional degree in tax is required
- Verbal and written communication is business‑friendly, pragmatic, and thoughtful; fluent in Dutch and English, French is an additional asset
