Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.


As part of the Outbound Prime Product Logistics Team based in Grimbergen, you will help drive transportation efficiency and process improvement for Prime Products moving from EAME facilities to Dealers and end customers globally. Working closely with order management and planning teams, you will plan and execute international shipments to reduce transit time, variability, in-transit inventory, and transportation cost. The role will also support the regional TLM team, connect with global solutions teams, and help advance automation, technology adoption, and analytics transformation across the prime product logistics space.


What you’ll do

  • Manage the planning and execution of international transportation for finished products from EAME production locations to dealers and customers globally.
  • Own key operational performance metrics, including velocity, cost, data quality, and CO2 emissions, and work cross-functionally to achieve targets.
  • Act as regional super user for Analytics and Blue Yonder and connected system infrastructure, supporting automation, process improvement, and technology adoption.
  • Use systems, business intelligence dashboards, and stakeholder insights to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, including the evolution of the global analytics landscape.
  • Plan short- and long-term transportation capacity based on production volumes, working closely with plants, supply chain partners, and ocean carriers.
  • Build strong relationships with supply chain partners and customers through proactive communication and performance management.
  • Develop business knowledge of product and customer requirements, while documenting processes to support standardization and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in international transportation, including ocean, road, and/or air freight.
  • Strong interest in logistics, transportation processes, network design, and transportation solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with Lean or Six Sigma knowledge considered a plus.
  • Affinity with analytics, business intelligence, customer relationship management, and transportation systems, including tools such as Power BI, Salesforce, and Blue Yonder.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills,
  • Proficient English required and other languages considered a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in an evolving, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook; knowledge of Visio, Power Automate, and advanced Power BI is a plus.
