Solution Project ManagerJob detailsProfessional ServicesRelocation PositionFull-timeWe are looking for a Solution Project Manager to join our team.
What you'll do
* Take full lifecycle ownership of ICT projects, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
* Lead end-to-end delivery of ICT projects, ensuring alignment with defined objectives, system requirements, and business outcomes.
* Define project scope, objectives, stakeholders, success criteria, and prepare comprehensive project initiation documentation.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and coordination of technical teams (developers, network engineers, QA, and support staff).
* Manage project budgets, including hardware, software, third-party vendors, and operational costs.
* Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle using structured logs and governance processes.
* Maintain continuous stakeholder communication through status reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitate technical discussions, resolve conflicts, and ensure delivery of project milestones.
* Apply PRINCE2-based methodologies, adapting governance practices to project complexity and organizational context.
* Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain audit-ready documentation, including stage gates, change requests, approvals, and decision logs.
* Facilitate technical workshops covering architecture, infrastructure readiness, system integration, data migration, and deployment planning.
* Coordinate testing activities, including UAT planning, defect management, and release readiness.
* Support go-live and deployment planning, ensuring production readiness and stakeholder approval.
* Produce project closure reports, including outcomes, lessons learned, deliverables, and financial overview.What you will need to bring:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in ICT project management within large organizations (1000+ users).
* Strong understanding of modern information systems, technologies, and related security considerations.
* Experience with technology design, deployment, and its impact on business operations and security posture.
* PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
* PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are considered an advantage.
* Experience with project management tools for planning, reporting, budgeting, and analytics.
* Experience with procurement processes and tools (purchase requests, purchase orders, approvals, sourcing, and closure).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to both technical teams and executives.
* Ability to clearly document requirements, progress and project outcomes.
* Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
* Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a national security clearance as a citizen of a NATO member state.
* Availability to work full-time on-site in Brussels (Belgium), with limited remote work (up to 1 day per week).
